Here are my beaded socks, I used Cascade Sassy stripes and the pattern is heartstrings, Beaded Swirl Socks. I really love them and I am very proud of my first ever use of beads in knitting. The pattern was a challenge but delightful to follow, so much to keep my interest. I love the way the stripes are almost identical, really pleasing! I also did the swirls down the heel because as the weather is starting to warm up I want to wear these with my clogs.
This is a felted bag I made using my knitting machine...I added that bit in case you thought I was a turbo knitter! I decided to knit two icords and twisted them before felting, it worked really well. I have got a CD jewel case in the base to keep the square bottom square! It's a nice little handbag size. I am now thinking about a more colourful version....
I started this shawl last night, it is the flower basket shawl from interweave knits. Not having knitted a shawl before, or even anything this lacy, I am very happy with the way this is turning out and love the clever design. I daresay all triangular shawls start at the mid neck and work down, but the eye tells me it was worked from the point up...the yarn I am using is some very fine, well oiled pure wool. I am working on 3.5mm needles. This yarn not only keeps my fingers lubricated as I knit but it washes up to a soft fluffiness, I am really looking forward to blocking this beauty. I started this last night as I couldn't sleep, this is about 2.5 hours of work!

And folks say I'm a busy one...they haven't met you! The socks are beautiful, truly. Will you model them, too? I have never made a bag, but I think my teenager would like one of yours...I may have to give it a go. And thanks for the tulips. I am not kidding when I say your photos make me smile!

Oh boy, the flowerbasket shawl, I want to do that one also, so really looking forward to seeing it completed. It's looking lovely as well. I love knitting the lace. You are going to love seeing the magic when you block it.

I'm so excited because the bulbs I planted last fall are just popping up out of the ground. Hurray for spring!
