I must say, I used my compact again for these close up shots and I am seriously impressed with the quality. I wanted to use my d200 with the 60mm lens on it but the battery was flat, some things are just meant to be eh?
I have also got some gorgeous bargain yarn to tell you about but I have to get on with some work! Yes me working! An unusual occurrence but I am so happy to be doing something that pleases me and I get paid for. I am putting together an album of old photos, I mean really old photos and I'll show you some of them if the owner gives me permission.
It really is a lovely job, so its TTFN and I'll BBL!
Oh and J...I haven't forgotten about your blue cardi.....

Oh my, the color is just amazing. It reminds me of this red raspberry ice cream I used to eat as a childbut very rich and creamy. You could just sink into it. Enjoy your shawl!
Very pretty looking - can't wait to see the whole thing!
Mmmmmmmm, I agree with Sharon and Loribird, I could almost eat that. I love knitting with cashmere, although the 100% isn't as strong as wool or alpaca, it just feels heavenly!
Looking forward to seeing it blocked and seeing your new bargain yarn!
you are so right about it being weaker than a mixed fibre yarn...I only broke it once and Barry and didn't get too cross when we were winding it into a ball from a skein....I wonder if it has enjoyed it's rest on Maisie's bed? I've not been in to peek at it all day, I might just have to go and see right now!
Such beautiful colors...this would be around my neck all winter. Can't wait to see an "all done" pic! XX
How'd the shawl turn out once it was free of its pins? An entire Cashmere shawl would be heavenly to wrap in. Especially one with such delicious colors.
And yes, I'm sure you'd be handy at spinning.
goodness Jo, couldn't you sleep? The shawl is very lovely and a light as a feather...I'll post a photo later :^)
Ignore that last comment, I have just worked out that you are Wanda from Oregon??
It looks even lovelier than it did in the skein: can't wait to see the finished item!
I love your photos, they make the materials come alive! I can almost feel the softness through your shots!
Nice work :o) Have a great week {{{HUGS}}} xx
Shawl looks FANTASTIC!! Am looking forward to my cardi :) xxx
