I wrote loads about going to the hairdressers and why I had been cutting and colouring my hair myself for the last two years....then blogger lost it for some reason! I had a wonderful time there, shiatsu massaging chair at the sink! Can't wait for the next time!
As I got out of my Ka when I got home from the hairdressers, the postman walked towards me with a parcel! I knew it had been sent but when would it arrive! What perfect timing! It was mighty heavy! And no wonder, it was packed with the most amazing things. Those heart fans are brilliant, I wafted one straight at me and it cooled me right down. Robin has been more than generous and oh so thoughtful! Toffee, a calendar t-towel, gorgeous soft fuzzy hand spun yarn, loads of information leaflets about Virginia, a notepad, some beautiful photography magazines which I am going to look at quietly over a cup of coffee later, a local newspaper, Virginian peanuts and apple candy, some gorgeously soft and beautiful bamboo yarn and a pattern for an eye mask (think migraines here), a red thing which I think is a pop up something or other from where Robin's husband Ray works, some amazingly beautiful smelling soap and a wooden soap dish (made by friend of robins, also called Robin!) , a tiny sock block keyring and a pattern to make some tiny socks to fit on it, another keyring, a pen, and a spindle and fleece to make some of my own yarn. So very thoughtful, all of it!! So generous, i am totally overwhelmed by Robin's generosity! Thank you , you lovely lady! I want to visit you now!!, especially after reading the interesting letter you sent me....you have made my day!

the little red thing is a fold up frisbee. Do you know what that is, if not, it's a toy that you toss outside from one person to another. This is a little portable one. thought Barry and Maisie could play with it.

but did you cut the back off or is it pulled up? very cute
the back is cut off! My neck is nice and cool now! Lol @ a frisbee...I am going to keep it in my hand bag to use as a fan when I have a hot flush and when I am cool enough I will play frisbee with Barry! :^)
