We Got Crabs from Cromer!

My lovely sister Lizzy and her husband Jim.....

They came to stay for a couple of nights and we had a great time. Lizzy and I didn't really fancy shopping in busy Cambridge yesterday and both the men had been to Duxford before and there wasn't an airshow going on soooo, we went to Cromer and got crabs!! LOL!!!
They treated us to this wonderful lunch! I so love a dressed crab and this salad was delicious!
Jim even bought me another crab to take home with us, I might make some Thai Crab Cakes with it or I might just dive in and gobble it up!! Both L&J are so generous, what with bringing us some flowers and some celebratory fizz, and then buying us some tasty cider which doesn't give me a headache yippee!! Thank you so much you two...what a special weekend we had with you both! xx
This horse photo was taken in between Cromer and Wells-Next-The-Sea (stupid name!). I am starting to understand the manual settings on my D200 now and love the results! I had an ice cream in one hand as I took this shot, I was trying to get out of the queue when I saw the shot, the other angles weren't so good, more like bum shots really haha!!

Lizzy and Jim left about 9am, I feel sad now.....but I have a wedding to sort out, OURS!!! on the18th April 2008 woohoo!!!

This panorama of Cromer Pier was made using 6 photos which were stitched together in Photoshop. If you click the image you will be taken to a large version of it. I love all the different things that the people are doing!

I am in a bit of a panoramic making mode so we are just off out to find simewhere pretty to take some photos to make into more panos! Watch this space!

Oh and I have to say thank you to Julie for the above award...too kind! I have to pass it on...hmmm.....how about my Ali? She is VERY creative too! Check out her Etsy Shop too, she's been really busy making some gorgeously useful little bags and things, I really love the ones she's made out of some lovely vintage 'Miffy' fabric!

Here I am commenting just as you are posting. Congratulations on you Creative Blogger Award; I'd vote for you too. BTW, thanks for the link to Wicken Fen, it sounds like an interesting place to visit while on our vacation next year.

Congratulations on fixing the BIG day. Hope you'll have loads of fun (and not too much stress) with all the perparations. And I adore the "before and after" shots of the crab salad, yummy.

The panorama looks great -- is it hard to do in photoshop? Congrats on the award AND the fixed date!

Sounds like a fun weekend, your photos make me want to visit Norfolk/Suffolk again...we had several holidays there when I was a child. Mundesley was a favourite and Sea Palling too.I love the pic of Cromer, that's so clever. Lucky you having a lovely sister, I always wanted a sister but got two brothers instead...still, they're not too bad! But not much good for doing girly things with!
