We have a winner

Sorry if that previous post caused so much confusion.....I'll do another giveaway with no bossy tasks to complete soon enough. I thought I was being clever but fear that it backfired on me and upset one or two of you on the way. Doh! I even got confused in the end!

anyway.......

the winner is.......

Pete in Wales! I know you don't have a blog but I do know your email address!
Unfortunately Pete, I have been knitting a pair of ladies socks as the prize so I guess it's Kini that will benefit from this giveaway! (unless of course you have a thing for lacy alpaca/silk hand knitted socks)

Now I am going for a lie down....all this is so exhausting!

Photos to follow, I have a few FO's to show you! I can't lift the camera!

~*~

I had my second physio appointment today, I have got a lot more movement back in my shoulder, more than I had before the operation. It still hurts, but only if I push it too far. I am now getting itchy to drive again, I miss my little red Ka, I look at her fondly, just sitting there patiently waiting for me to take her to some interesting yarn shops....not long now, I can sense I will be driving very soon. I have to get the go ahead from the surgeon though, without his go ahead I am not insured! :^(

Please listen to your doc and physio and do not push your progress. I have learned one thing now and that is that it's OK to say yes thank you if anyone offers to help you LOL

Well, I wasn't offended at all - and I would've loved a pair of handmade [by you] socks! :)

Can’t anybody drive you to some yarn shop? I hope you’r shoulder will be better by the day and that you can drive yourself very soon! I think I might go to a new English! yarn shop here in The Hague today, that will make me feel a whole lot better!

Congrats pete-in-wales! I am sure you will look lovely in lacy alpaca!

Marianne, I know how forlorn a little ka can look when it feels slighted, but a little patting (with your good arm) will work wonders!

be sure and Obey Medical Advice! the workings of our hinge parts are very delicate...

Lucky old Pete! Glad you're on the mend, when you start driving again, come for chocolate cake. Alternatively Barry can drive you over for chocolate cake! (Give me warning though!)

Thanks for the tut. on the email thingy. I looked at it but prefer not to have my email address on my blog because :-

a) I'm very lazy
b) I'm a very lazy communicator and
c) I'm very lazy

No offence taken by yours; hope non caused by mine!

And the pattern I use for the monkeys is basically the ITV digital one by Sirdar (link to it on my blog), but I have messed with the mouths to make them smiley (or sad, as per todays!)
