A few months ago I signed up for Alice's sock club.... from Socktopusthe package was eagerly awaited in December and when it arrived I was not disappointed. Lots of lovely treats and some super soft merino cashmere sock yarn. I'm not so sure I can get my head around listening to loads of hours of Anna Karenina though...it's quite heavy going. Would love to hear what others think of the story? Shall I try again?
The exclusive sock pattern was designed by the talented Jane Lithgow I have been an admirer of her work for a while now and always visit her blog. I purchased another pattern from her in October. Small world eh?
I love the pattern now that it has stuck in my 'slow to keep the info in' brain
It is really good to be knitting something for myself right now, these are such beautiful socks, firmly knitted fabric but a good fit!

Hurray for packages that arrive! The sock club sounds like fun. I recently bought my first sock yarn and needles. All I have to do is start....
