Knitting Nupps

I am knitting a Swallowtail Shawl our of some delicious Camelspin
I have reached the end of one skein of Camelspin and I am just about to wind my second skein into a cake . I have reached the end of row 9 of the Lily of the Valley Border 2, all bar 2 stitches. I did work 19 repeats of the Budding Lace. Now I have to decide whether to do more of the Lily of the Valley border (I truly love knitting the nupps, I use the sl 2 purl 3tog pass the sl stitches over technique), or shall I just do the Peaked edging? What do you think?
This shawl is hard to put down, I love the feel of the yarn and the beautiful way the colours sit together
I love the way the nupps are all different colours….gorgeous!
I was a bit worried about knitting the nupps of the Lily of the Valley border, but I needn't have worried, as I am a loose knitter, working them has been a doddle and a joy actually as I love seeing the shiny knobbles appearing in their various colours.

Being told to relax is great, guilt free knitting yay!!

Ali is arriving today, the first of the visitors! I am really looking forward to seeing her and her darling family. I bet that little Sullivan has grown a lot since I last saw him.

Time to get the day going now....only a few beds to make and a bathroom to clean. Does anyone else find it easier to clean the shower whilst they're actually in it? Well that's my plan ha!

love the colors of your shawl. I too find cleaning while in the shower is far easier that out of it. Great way to keep it up to par.

I'll be thinking of you all week. Take Care

You are SO close to The Day!!!!!

Cookie just knit the Swallowtail with mods to end up 72" across and 29" long... she did
19 repeats of budding lace chart
Both nupp charts twice
added an extra row to the edging. does that help?

Your ST is GORGEOUS!!!

Gosh, it's just beautiful! I can't believe that you even have time to be knitting! And yes...cleaning while IN the shower -- I make the hubby do it. You should train Barry right at the start -- but don't tell him I told you that though or he won't be nice to me anymore LOL!

Beautiful shawl in every respect Marianne. I'll be glad when I'm back to knitting again. My shoulder is making slow progress at physio 3 times a week. Sometimes it seems like 3 steps forward 2 back but I'll get there eventually. Take care yourself.
