Redcoats and Rebels Re-enactment

Wimpole Hall....one of our favourite National Trust places to visit.Showing me her undies! This lovely lady was sat sewing some 'stays' to wear under her jacket. She says they are comfy to wear but it is difficult to bend down!
Some children playing so beautifully
looks like he's lost someone....
now someone is chasing him!
Bums on seats!
My turn next...
where are those boys! We'll smack their bum if they throw any more stones at us!
ooops, is she going to show off her 'stays' again?

When we got in I sliced some onions, put some tasty organic sausages on the top, halved some new potatoes and drizzled the lot with olive oil and seasoned it with sea salt crystals and freshly ground black pepper. Baked it all together for about 40 mins in a reasonably hot oven, stirring once. I then put the kettle on to boil, plated up the sausages and potatoes and poured some boiling water over the onions and using a whisk I scraped up all the tasty bits sticking to the bottom of the pan, added some chicken gravy granules to thicken it slightly and we had dinner! So easy and if we both liked other vegetables I would have added carrots and parsnips to roast as well!

Can anyone tell me how on earth Cat Bordhi worked out how to do that amazingly confusing but easy when you 'get it' cast on, for that clever mobius cowl she created? I mean, whatever must have driven her to do it? I am loving knitting it though :^)

I just received this by email from my lovely Aunty Sally, my Mum's youngest sister who is very nearly the same age as me!!

MY LIVING WILL

Last night, my friend and I were sitting in the living room and I said to her, 'I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens, just pull the plug.'

She got up, unplugged the Computer, and threw out my wine.

She's such a b***h.....

I must tell Clive about your aunt's comment; sounds like him to a tee! I don't think he'd appreciate it if I pulled the plug on his precious computer though! He really would lose the will to live!
