Stitch Markers, Swallowtail and Mosaic Socks

The lovely Alice from Socktopus sent me these gorgeous little stitch markers with my latest order, I love them! Thank you Alice, I think I might be using them when I make some socks for Barry :^) You are very kind!
I adore my Swallowtail, it drapes so beautifully and is a silky sensual pleasure to wear
I used Handmaiden, Camelspin in Rose Garden....it used the best part of Two skeins as I made my Shawl bigger than the pattern says
These are the latest Socktopus Sock Club socks, I love them! The entrelac bit is gorgeous although it has come out rather looser than the rest of the sock so if I knit another pair I will go down a needle size for that bit. The yarn is Middlearthknitter Yarns BFL/nylon
Isn't the colour gorgeous? The very talented Diane Mulholland designed them. It is my first successful short row heel and toe, excellent instructions there Diane!

Now I am going back to clearing out my kitchen cupboard, the one under the sink that is full of half full bottles of this and that...I think I will have a clearer head if I actually finish that task.

I have had ear ache for about three weeks now, off and on...the flying made it worse especially on the second honeymoon to Guernsey on Saturday. Didn't I tell you about that one? Ooops sorry....actually Barry was working there Monday to Wednesday so I tagged along for the ride. It was so warm and sunny and the seafood was out of this world. Thanks go to James, Barry's colleague for showing us some excellent restaurants, maybe we'll get to the lobster restaurant next time!

Doctors for me my girl! I am fed up of the pain and being deaf GGGggggrrrrrr!!!

you better get to the doctor, you probably have some fluid behind the eardrum. don't want to damage your hearing.

I'm glad you're back and can't wait to see all the honeymoon pictures.

Love the shawl. I've not tried lace yet, need a dummy pattern, got any suggestions?
