Does your toothbrush tickle your ears?

The bread is Stollen and you can see from the comments below that it is popular with my spring offs! Here's the recipe
I used my bread machine, putting the ingredients in the pan in the order my machine likes, ie yeast first, then flour.  I added the fruit after the dough had risen once then let it rise for 2 hours. It should have some lemon icing drizzled over it but Laurie doesn't like icing and he keeps eating them! Don't worry Ali, I'll make some more, it's great fun to make!

Not sure if you want me to go close or far away Anna, so I've done both! I simply tied the baubles onto the beads with parcel curling ribbon and curled the ends with the edge of the scissors. I then wrapped the beads around my lights.

Julie and Ruth, here's the pattern for the mitts, I added a 15 chain loop for the middle finger to slip through to keep them in place.

Franney and Julie, you will have to fight for the under stairs cupboard I'm afraid.a girl has to have somewhere to hide her hoover and stuff! Mind you, it would be a good place for hide and seek!

I'll leave you with a question, does your toothbrush tickle your ears? Mine does and I'm not sure I like it!

Perfect (er, picperfic haha) Marianne! Thanks for the zoom out -- now I can see what those baubles look like in your room -- just beautiful. What a fun idea. Now, erm, dare I ask for a zoom out of the stocking garland? Is that what it is -- on the mantle -- looks very intriguing!

Yum. Stollen. I think I may have to make some. Thanks for the link to the mitts. Should be a quick last minute present.

It's all so lovely - I wondered whether the bread was a kind of panettone - now you've enlightened me. Such pretty decorations!
