Finished Objects 2008

This is almost all the FO's from 2008.  I notice that I didn't do much knitting until after the middle of May...and then it went crazy!
You can view set one here and set two here

I enjoyed looking at all the things I made last year.  I might go on and bore you with other mosaics of the precious year and then my sewing and of course now I have another love, spinning!

Tomorrow Barry is going into hospital for an operation.  He has to be at the hospital at 7.30 so it is an early start.  I am going with him and will be taking some knitting with me to keep me occupied.  Hopefully he will be coming home tomorrow too! We are both a bit twitchy this evening. Horrid feeling this waiting game....

We took down the decorations today, well most of them.  I now want to clean the house again.  So unlike me, not sure I'm made to be houseproud!

I have done some lovely therapeutic spinning, I'll show you that next time....

You've an amazing amount of knitting accomplished this past year and they're all beautiful! (I see my mitts!)
Sending my best for Barry tomorrow, hoping all is fine.

In reply to your post on my blog, I'd love to see the Patricia Roberts waistcoat. I used to knit for her in the early 80's and made umpteen waistcoats - they were patchwork squares with different colours and stitch patterns in each square. I've got the pattern for one made in mohair that was published in Woman magazine. Maybe it's the same one?

Best wishes to Barry for his op. I love your knits, my favourite was the colourful bag.
