Test Knitting and more...

I am very proud to have been selected to do some test knitting for Grace-Anna
What a pretty pattern it is!  I made mine with some Blue Skies Alpaca which I love to work with. However, I didn't have enough of one colour to complete even one sock! If you look caefully you will see that the beautiful toe is in a different colour. I just adore the cast on, I have to say this it is what drew me to the pattern in the first place.  If you are on Ravelry you can read about the sock here. This sock will be frogged and then I will make my proper pair from some of my alpaca/silk sock yarn from The natural Dye Studio.  Michaela, I will post a full on shot when I have made my proper pair! ;^)

I have finished my Just Enough Ruffles scarf and I wish you all could feel it, not one itchy spot in sight!
I made it from some cashmerino that I spun into singles..I also added a tiny bit of trilobal sparkle for good measure.

Now I just need to go somewhere to wear it!

PINK PINK PINK! (it's one of my favorite colors!!) It is such lovely yarn you've spun there.

And the scarf is fabulous!

Boy Marianne, you've been a busy girl! I looked closely and my poor tired old eyes couldn't see the color difference in that sock LOL. Love the Pretty, Pretty scarf!!!

What a stunning sock - the top is so pretty! Marianne, your spinning is always a joy to look at - the subtle pink shades in that yarn. That's a lovely scarf you've made with it too. Emma x
