Snow....

Well I thought it was going to be so thick and deep but it was starting to get a bit melty....I think we're due some more overnight though so the photos might be a bit more 'snowy' tomorrow... Well I have put together an album of the shots, think they look ok. I used a D200 and our wonderful 105mm Nikkor Micro VR lens, this made landscapes a bit limited but the close ups worked very well. Clicky

The walk in the fresh air did me good and I came back starving...so I quickly made some supernoodles and a bag of microwave steam cuisine veg, that's about as junk foody as I can get....I do love the texture of those instant noodles though, and always burn my mouth trying to eat them before they have cooled enough!

Talking about texture, I just couldn't post on here without showing you the little socks i have started to make, I was trying out the lens before I went out into the snow and took these yummy shots! You have to click the photos to see the wonderful detail!

no...my home is just across the road for now...hopefully Barry and I will be moving to our own place in a few months time, we are renting this house. I'll post a photo tomorrow so you can imagine where I live :^) We are so looking forward to making our home together although, living here has been wonderful, we've been living together now for almost 2 years and we have just had the best time ever in amongst all the horrid stuff that goes with two broken long term relationships...but that's another story! You are a lovely friend Marianne (yep that's wierd!)and I am happy that you have taken the time to view my photos. I did take you for a little walk round my village, well this end of it anyway. The yellow flowers are called Aconites. I might take some photos of the other end tomorrow, I have to walk to the post office tomorrow so I'll take my camera with me if it's not raining! Hope we get some more snow, it never lasts long enough here!

Is that the yarn that knits up into it's own Fairisle pattern? It's gorgeous.

I would love one of your sweaters :)
