so spoilt.....

My 'favourite colourswap pal' has sent me such a delicious parcel of treats....it arrived this morning but I was in a hurry to go out with Maisie so couldn't get to photograph my goodies until just now.
I hate shopping BTW, I find it tiresome and tedious, unless of course it's for lovely things we all simply 'need' to have in our lives. How naughty is that, I must try and not be a bore when it comes to food shopping!
Anyway, can you see that wonderful hand dyed 100% cashmere yarn
Rosie found for me, I'm sure I'll make something very special out of it, it has such a beautiful feel to it. I am in the process of brewing a fruity tea and Oooh that yummy chocolate, I will have to hide it away, and those little Brittany cable needles, they are wonderful to touch. Also I was given some pretty notelets and a wildlife badge which will look lovely on one of my Jackets...thank you lovely lady! Another amazing thing is that my 'pal' lives not very far from me so hopefully I'll be able to meet up with the Ktogs knitting group in Cambridge as Rosie is the founder member.....I think Barry will have to take up knitting so he can come too! ;^) The tea is delicious, just what you need after a tiring time 'girlie shopping'! THANK YOU!!
Now I just need to get on and finalise my package for my pal.....

I hope you and Maisie have been having lots of fun! Looks like you have plenty of treats in this package!

I'm so happy that the package has arrived safely and is being enjoyed! Despite working in a shop, I'm not too keen on shopping either...unless it is for yarn or books. I was intrigued by the sound of the tea (strawberry with a mint aftertaste), I've been having a wonderful time treating myself to lines from that shop since it opened last autumn!

By the way, no need to teach Barry to knit, the pub we're meeting in next Tuesday is an experience in itself!

What an amazingly delightful parcel of goodies! Oh what fun!
the Ktogs group sounds great.
I only enjoy the yarn shopping, the rest of it? I wish I could hire someone to do it for me, since I can't I do manage to get to the market once a week and new clothes? forget it. Fortunately for me Bobby wears t-shirts and jeans, so once a year he gets a new supply and that's pretty much it, now I do however like the 'thrift' stores on occasion and will sometimes find quite the treasure.
Knitpicks parcel has still not arrived here. Will keep you posted.

XOXOXOXOX
