Sugar & Cream and Stitch Markers

Aren't those stitch markers so pretty? My special friend Marianne made them for me....the beads are so beautiful and they are so cleverly and expertly assembled and finished. I keep holding them up to the light to catch the twinkles. You have more patience that I for these fiddly things. I shall enjoy having Marianne along with me as I am knitting.....the Internet is a marvellous thing really. I love the way it brings us all together.... (I will take some more photos soon, I'm not too pleased with this one)
Oh and do you remember my woes about getting cotton for making flannels/facecloths/dishcloths/warshrags? Well Marianne has sent me a box full of balls of this gorgeous cotton so I am now in my element knitting these amusing but useful items. Trouble is, I now don't know if I am knitting/crocheting facecloths or dishcloths as the yarn is so pretty. Is there a difference?

Anyway, thank you dear friend, I will be in touch via the post soon...

Barry is on his way home from work...he can't shift this horrid virus that is wearing him out. He has a doctor's appointment this afternoon, let's hope they can get it sorted. it's more of a gastric virus, I hope I don't catch it!

You are beyond welcome, dear one.

And look at you go!!!
As to the difference...no, I don't think there's a difference.

Those stitch markers are beautiful! At my house the cotton becomes facecloths for awhile until they start looking raggedy, then they become washcloths. I do enjoy making them though!

Facecloth, dishcloth; there all the same.

What lovely stitch markers!

I hope Barry gets better soon; he's been ill for quite some time, hasn't he?

Beautiful stitch markers. Knitting has changed so much - I must return to it someday? Don't know about face cloths or dishcloths but I would love a summer jumper made in that shade of cotton! Mary

Aren't Marianne's stitch markers special! She gifted me with a set a few months ago.

I think Marti has a great idea for the face to washclothes. I've read some people don't like working with this cotton (Yarn Harlot) but I think it makes for a fun, quick project.

Oh yes, I agree with Marti too..what a good idea about the cloths...the last one I made is far too big to be a facecloth so its looking beautiful in the kitchen right now.
