(click this image to see a multitude of minis!)
Yesterday we went to the Northampton Balloon Festival. It was wet and my photography was pants! I didn't see one balloon! I did enjoy seeing all these cute little Minis in one place though. Maisie and Amy had fun as usual, those two are great together, completely nuts! We went back to Amy's house for some tea. It was a bit tricky getting Maisie to leave Amy, but we managed it in the end......Maisie was fast asleep by the time we got home. Barry wanted to watch this film he had kept on about, so I made myself wake up a bit and I prepared to watch it with him. A boring old film it was too, something to do with Thomas a Beckett, not my cup of tea at all! Even more annoying was the fact that I had woken up and next to me was Barry, fast asleep and snoring! I switched the television off as I decided it was bedtime! ;^)(Photograph by Barry)
I am now in the process of sorting out the blue room. The blue room is our dumping ground and it's got out of hand. We have got visitors staying next weekend and we need to be able to open the bed that is folded in two in there right now. I have started but the bags that I had already tied up for recycling etc have to be opened to see what sort of recycling they are. What a shambles, I had put some strange items together in those bags, must have been going through a mad phase when I filled them. Still its good therapy and getting rid of stuff that brings me down is freeing my mind up so I can move into the next phase of my life with ease. I think it's going to be a long job but I'm keen, I like it when I'm keen, it doesn't happen too often. I'd really rather be knitting or sewing on the whole but again, if it gets sorted then the craft stuff is guilt free!
We're going to a BBQ later on today, the weather is dull and damp unfortunately but no doubt we'll enjoy the occasion, it's nice to get out and enjoy good food with friends.
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend? I'd love to hear what you've been up to whilst I've been so busy!

Great photo of Amy and Maisie, definitely good times being made! They'll remember these times all their lives.
....the blue room.....heh. I know what room that is...heh. Good luck with it, you'll have it sorted in no time, especially considering you're feeling keen about it, and I know just what you mean about that.
Hope your BBQ went well/is going well...
my life right now is work work work and very little to no knitting or having much fun... but that's alright, in another month or so they will be accomplished...these moving, remodeling, moving goals.

Good luck with that Blue room! I've made a *start* on my desk and even just the top of it is taking me forever. The innards can wait. Maisie and Amy look as if they're having a fantastic time. Now I'm off to the airing cupboard to see if the last of my yarn has finally dried...
Lovely photos: I love the yarn drying on the line!!
I enjoy decluttering; makes me feel better!
The yarn looks perfect for socks! I didn't know you were a dye-r! :)
Great photo of the two girls! Decluttering a room is like decluttering your mind! I definately should do some myself! Our weekend was spend while shopping, reading, visiting family, a bit of crafting and blogreading and sitting in the garden between the showers.
What gorgeous yarn - you could make something better than socks with that I'm sure!
Thanks for visiting my blog - I might actually have something a bit more interesting to show this week.

I love love love that yarn. Fab colours. Thanks for your comment. I'm in the middle of decorating my equivalent of your 'blue' room. My Mum's coming to stay for a week - but somehow I don't think it will be finished! Hope you enjoy your visitors.

the yarn colors are so bright and happy. I have a knitting friend who dyed bright colors and made beautiful tote bags from it. one idea for you!

The colours of the yarn on the line are so saturated they jump off the screen - they will be great fun to knit with although they look beautiful just where they are!
I have a blue room here, but I call it spare oom (as in Narnia). It holds most of my stash and all my clothes and it's a MESS. I keep saying I'm going to sort it out, but since no one ever needs that room except me; it doesn't get done :)
Love the picture of the girls; they are obviously having a great time!
That yarn is great; looks like a clothes line full of tie dyed T-shirts.
Are you still walking on clouds????
Wow! You have been busy!
You sure found your calling as a photographer - you capture such compelling pictures.
Love the cheerful yarns.
