a champagne diamond

'Champagne Diamonds
Champagne diamonds are naturally coloured diamonds that are produced in a wide range of colours from light straw to rich cognac'

i can't stop thinking about my ring

it needs to be altered and won't be ready for two to three weeks

foolishly, we never photographed it but i can see it in my mind's eye...it is stunning, unique and more twinkly than any ring i have ever seen before. the diamond is set into the platinum band with a gap back and front to let the light in...i love it! sums up our relationship too...the pleasure we both had choosing this ring was immense and will stay with us forever. it was the first ring we looked at. after i saw it, all others paled into insignificance

i slept better but keep waking as the pain killers wear off...

barry is taking me for a drive today, hope i don't sleep through it

big cheesy 'i've got a pretty ring' grin today

exercises hmmphhh...where's me broom handle?

I've been so busy that I haven't read your blog this last week. Lots of good things happening for you - that's wonderful. I hope your shoulder is much better now and I know how excited you must be over your ring. Robin has contacted me by e-mail; we VA women do enjoy using our state slogan don't we...Virginia is for Lovers.

Ring sounds fabulous. Good excuse to have a manicure before pics are taken, if you ask me. Have fun with the broom handle...
