*UPDATED*

Elizabeth Zimmerman at her best....just love these dinky little boots!

Made to go with the February Sweater...

Absolutely Gorgeous!
I can't email you a reply Kathy but I can tell you that the blue cardigan and the bootees come from 'The Opinionated Knitter' and the pink February sweater is from 'Knitters Almanac'.
Alice, (no email to reply sorry)I used Rowan Wool/Cotton on size 3mm needles for the stripey BSJ, it has come out a lovely 'just a bit bigger' than new born size! I knit loosely BTW, so you might need 3.5mm needles if you knit to a standard tension although knitting garter stitch is a whole new ballgame in the tension department. I go along the lines of 'it will fit sometime' so the tension isn't crucial.

Are the booties from a Spun Out issue? Love them and your sweaters. Great job.

Both sets are totally gorgeous and cute! Makes me want to knit some too, even though I don't need any of it. Can't say that I remember the booties though, must have overlooked them in E.Z.'s books. Real lovely. ;o)

And gorgeous jackets to boot!

Love them all -- especially the baby surprise. Can you tell me what the yarn was for that? My dear friend just had a boy and I'm looking for inspiring yarn for this one...
Thanks, Alice

Stupid question: Where is the pattern for those fabulous booties???? I have 3 Zimmerman books...is it in one of them? I have a new grand neice or nephew arriving this spring and muuuussssttt make those booties. LOL
Cheers love.
PS: Oh and that yarn I died last springthat you liked? Its now in a yarn "cake" off the winder and looks so much prettier than in a hank.
