Maisie and I were just off to Ely this morning when I noticed these cobwebs on my car.
I had to go back in and get my camera of course! I love the detail these frosty webs have, would have been even better if the sun had shone on them but then they would have melted!
It never really warmed up today....it is still freezing outside but we're all warm inside.
We had lunch in the Steeplegate Tea Rooms, it was OK, nothing special but it was lovely to be out with my girl.
The mince pies went down well with Barry's colleagues, hurrah for this new oven and Nigella's Frangipane Mince Pies from This Book
We're going to see Denise (Barry's daughter) tomorrow...she has a wool shop for me to investigate! Yippee!!
Have you all reached the 'I'm never going to finish this in time so I better go and buy something instead' stage?
I have, but every time I try to buy something for these two people that I need to buy for I hear myself saying, 'but I could knit some of those'....maybe I do have time to knit something after all??

I haven't knitted/crocheted any of my gifts this year, so have avoided that dreaded stage (but how well I know it!).
Love the web pictures. Hope you all have a wonderful Xmas.
How nice that you and Maisie had a nice time! Beautiful webs...
PS I shaved my legs today :)
Beautiful web pics!
What a wonderful picture! Love it! I like Nigela Lawson and her show. She always makes me want to go cook something. :o)
Of course I love the photos of the web...
in your last post, the ascot and flower socks are delicious!
It really was very cold in Ely yesterday, wasn't it! Driving down the A10 to work in Cambridge the trees looked so lovely - very seasonal!

Yes, I have reached that stage and have bought things I should have made myself! Might still get some more done.
