Headless Chickens have nothing on me!

This is the bag I made for my UK Swap pal...I really enjoyed making it. I used Brown Sheep Lambs Pride - Worsted and used this pattern from Fiber Trends - The Sheep Tote pattern
The photo above is before felting. I had never done needle felting before but I highly recommend it, especially if you need to get something out of your system! The trick is knowing when to stop stabbing ha-ha! I'll definitely be making this bag again, the design is ingenious, especially the laddering up in each corner to make the shaping of the bag. This bag didn't felt down to the dimensions in the pattern, I guess it all depends on the yarn you use. This is the smaller bag on the pattern and it is a lovely size for a project bag. Just right for filling up with goodies for a swap pal too! I think Emerald liked it!
Here is the back of my Elspeth cardigan, second time of knitting it mind you, knitting lace and talking whilst travelling on a train don't mix! I have also knitted one sleeve and one front..a quick knit.
Meet our new bear! Wesley J Elliot...he is modelling the third of the fluffy boleros I have made for the bridesmaids. Technically I only have two little bridesmaids but there was almost enough of the angora left to make one more little one, I just had to use a bit of pink for the edging.
and....
as it is almost Easter...I thought I'd show you the fluffy bunny ears I sent to Millie and Maddie
Oh and I have now got the jewellery to wear to our wedding and have ordered some handmade shoes...more on that another time, right now I have to go and order some balloons and check out the suits for the men!

Dang! I've always wanted to try needle felting. Once could be so creative with it. I love that little bag! It is adorable!

Happy Easter!

That bag looks gorgeous, I love needle-felting. My niece had cute bunny rabbit ears like that last year and was still wearing them in September ;0)

I love the bag. I have all the tools for needle felting plus unfinished felted bags but I just can't seem to stop knitting. You out did your self in your swap package. What a lovely package.

You have been busy, but then it must keep your hands busy while your head ticks over with the details of the wedding, not long now x

So much to do for a wedding! The boleros are adorable, as is the swap bag. Felting can be a fussy thing I've discovered! I'm having the same talking/knitting problem with my monkey socks -- I have to keep stopping and figuring out problems.

It's true - the bag is great! Did you felt in a UK style washing machine? Only all the felting instructions seem to be for top loaders like they are in the states, where you can just lift the lid every so often to see how it's progressing, not really an option in a front loader!
