Curiously Clever.....

.......what? Clogs?
Not yet but a great fun knit which would fit a giant right now, hopefully they will felt to the right size. The pattern is really well written but it does look a bit of a puzzle right now....nearly finished one and I must do the other. I love felting things, it is a bit scary but very clever!Spring forward as part of an NDS KAL on Ravelry...the yarn is the deliciously heavy and soft and fluffy and squidgy Alpaca/Silk
I think it has to be one of my absolute favourite yarns, although I did have to make the leg one pattern repeat shorter following the advise on the KAL group as the yardage is lower than other sock yarns because of its heavy drape.
Not sure if I told you I had finished these Rivendells. Another special yarn from Amanda at NDS called Chi Merino/Bamboo and it has blocked perfectly! These are on the large size for my foot but will fit someone or other I'm sure.
and finally my favourite shot of the weekend. Sullivan, he is so beautiful and happy and loving...I am such a lucky Grandma to have these delicious young things to snuggle and love!
We spent the weekend in Devon and the whole of the family, apart from Barry and me, were involved in the Green Man festivities. I think Barry is going to do a more detailed photo blog about the day!

I feel a bit mean not showing you photos of the girls but they did get taken I can assure you...

Those Rivendells would fit me perfectly! I have much bigger feet than your dainty Cinderella ones (ha, I must be the ugly sister then!)

Oooh, those clogs look yummy! Will you be adding beads or other embellisihments to them? I can't wait to see them. Your socks are gorgeous, as always.

You are indeed lucky to have those adorable babies to snuggle and love -- and don't forget photograph!!!
