Happy Monday to You!

I just thought I would show you most of what I have been spinning.  I say most because I am beginning to lose track here.  I am spinning faster than I can photograph! Let's just say that I L O V E spinning!

Had a fab day yesterday at Socktopus.  In the morning I had my second spinning lesson with Diane and after that we all went downstairs in the shop for a little bit of buying and then some knitting. Alice treated us to  some yummy delicious buns made by Arianna.

I was feeling quite disillusioned with my spinning wheel after trying out Diane's Ashford Joy at the class.  I just couldn't spin fast enough on it and had decided that I had outgrown this wheel already.  However, there is no way we can afford a new one right now.  Barry had a look at my wheel and noticed there was another groove that the cord could sit on and you know what?  I can now spin really really fast!! Clever Barry!

I have just put the Christmas Cake in the oven and now, although I am aching to do some more spinning I am busy with some photography work.

Your spinning is lovely. I need to get back to mine as I have forgotten how to do it. I love the beret.

Mmm, beautiful spinning there, I giggled outloud about Barry adjusting your drive band, 'getting acquainted' with your wheel, eh?

The hat is just plain wonderful. I, too, have been spinning lately (after about 10 months off).

Not lots of spinning, but 5-10 minutes each day I go to the shop to help my friend Rae. She invited me to take my wheel there and it has helped me get started again.

I was just wondering today how you were, and then here is this lovely post. You're clearly doing well! Happy Monday.

That beret is simply perfect and your yarns look yummy, too. (Mine still pull apart but I think I'm improving slowly). You didn't take your wheel up to London for the class, did you?
