KoolAid Dates and Coffee

The top picture is the boucle yarn I dyed yesterday, it turned out really well and I intend to make those Sarah Dallas slippers forMaisie out of it, we shall see, it needs another fine fibre with it to add some strength as its very very soft....
The cake is one of those date slices I talked about in my last thread, I just knew I would love them, anyone coming round for a coffee??

Well, lady, can I just say...Bazza is quite easy on the eye...
The yarn is lovely! Nice dyeing job, looking forward to seeing it worked up!
The date goodie looks perfect, I love those things, I personally think they're the perfect breakfast food, that could be just me though...I am so tickled that you made some, hoping you like them!

Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog. What a nice surprise to hear from someone in Great Britain.

The date cake looks delicious. I'd love to have a slice with a good cup of tea.

Hello Marianne! I found you via Pat's site...I believe. One tends to get "lost" on here, as you can't quite remember just exactly how you got from point A to point Q :)

Anyway, that cake looks delicious and completely reminds me of a pie that we have here in Lancaster County called Shoofly Pie. Ever heard of it? It's SO good. Full of molasses and sugar and fat :) ha! Apparently a very German dessert...but not even sure if they make it in Germany anymore. Anyway, now I want a piece of Shoofly Pie. YUM.

LOVE that sock you made! I've always had an interest in knitting and crochetting, but as always, so many interests, so little time. I think i need to focus mainly on learnign the guitar at this point... :)

Happy Tuesday to you!

Rebecca :)
